The following was copied from the youtube site *I did not write the following* Squaresoft have released this advertisement for the japanese market. It incorporates many factors but to keep in brief I don't think it has a desired effect. They are attempting to emphasise that FF is moving to the PS3, hence the "play b3yond" anchorage and mode-of-address voiceover. HDTV is essentially the future thus the encoding of the caption "play beyond" is attempting to inform the audience to play beyond the realims of normal television and enter PS3, HDTV and FF13. Notice how FF13 has a number 3 in it aswell as the PS3 in order to create a mode of bricolage between the two.
