It would seem that JJ Abrams, producer for Cloverfield was playing Final Fantasy X, when he decided on how Cloverfield's monster would look like. The First Image shown shows Cloverfield's monster. The other images show Final Fantasy's Sin. The faces of both monsters look almost identical. Press Images to enlarge them
