Think back to the classic days of gaming, the 16-bit era, there was SNES and the Genesis. In particluar the latter, many a classic titles adorned SEGA's wonder machine, there was a great platformer that stood out amongst the rest of them, titled Strider - this is where Moon Diver comes in.
Created by the same bloke who did Strider, Moon Diver is a platformer with plenty of things and frantic action going on.
From the start you can choose from 4 different characters and build them up throughout the game via various attributes and such. As with the standard of character abilities, special skills can be attained throughout the levels, they will aid in your character strengths along with their offensive and defensive sides.
There are a dozen levels in the game and this is a game that is for gamers who like a good old challenge to boot. The game gets progressively tough as you advance, and with lots off enemies appearing and re-appearing, it will take a fair bit of time before its completed. There is also multiplayer option so you and your buddies (up to four) can play together, the game is slightly more easier to play through and obviously more fun.
The graphics are adequately done, nothing too flash or too fancy. The sound effects and music are well sampled and there are some nice tunes to go with the flow of the game.
