Think Connect-the-dots, think Puyo-Puyo, this where Monster Soup comes in.

From the guys who brought us Abca, Aqueduct, Enso•Dot and many other great titles to name but a few, Monster Soup comes as a refreshing puzzle once again awaiting on our plates to be savored upon.

The concept is decisively simple yet effective in execution; Multi-colored little monsters rise up from the bottom of the screen, your job is to chain each one up corresponding to their color before they reach the top of the screen and inevitably freeze to their doom. You can create combo-chains and bonuses which in turn becomes multipliers, bombs and other cool items to clear the path ahead.

As you progress, more monsters will appear and the action will become more busy; you'll have to plan ahead with nimble fingers and fast reactions to complete the levels.

The visuals are well drawn, with great cartoony animations and vibrant colors all around. The sound and music effects are well sampled too, along with catchy tunes and ditties.

There are 20 levels in the game and it will surely take a while before you beat them all. Along with global scores, achievements and such, there is plenty of re-play value in this cute and fresh little puzzler!...
